Meet the Therapist
Welcome

My name is Sarah Police. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) and addiction specialist (LCDC).
Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable. I believe that asking for help isn't a weakness, but a courageous decision to invest in yourself and your future.
I work collaboratively with teens, adults, couples, and families experiencing addiction, trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and other challenges.
My approach is individualized. Rather than having every client have the same treatment model, I work with clients to identify their goals and use approaches that fit their needs.
I incorporate approaches including CBT, Solution-Focused therapy, Reality therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and Trauma-Focused therapy. I also utilize Brainspotting during sessions.
Who are my ideal clients?

-
Trauma & PTSD: from childhood, religion, abuse
-
Addiction & Recovery: those wanting to work on their sobriety.
-
Anxiety & Depression: those who are needing coping and calming techniques.
-
Relationship & Couples Challenges: those needing to work on things like communication and building trust with their partner.
-
Life Transitions: starting college, a new job, losing a spouse or parent
-
